Joan Elizabeth Lister
Joan E. Lister, of Malden, died Friday, May 1, 2009 at the Lawrence Memorial Hospital in Medford, she was 57. Born on March 9, 1952 in Lowell, she was the daughter of the late Lloyd L. "Red" and Winifred F. (Waldron) Lister. Though Joan was born in Lowell, she was raised and educated in Malden. She was a graduate of Malden High School with the Class of 1970. Joan had worked a few various jobs but her main center of attention was always dedicated to her daughter and family. Joan is survived by her daughter, Sandra L. Magri and her husband, Donald of Medford, her sister, Nancy L. Lister Bolduc and her husband, Arthur of Acton, ME, formerly of Malden, her sister-in-law, Frances Cinicola of Malden, her niece, Debra L. Gallagher of Methuen, her nephews, Joseph A. Bolduc of Stoneham, David L. Bolduc of Limerick, and ME, and Robert F. Cinicola of Malden. Joan is also survived by her long-time companion, Paul Bionelli of Malden. In addition to her parents, Joan was preceded in death by her brother, Robert L. Lister. A funeral service for Joan will be held in the Weir-MacCuish Golden Rule Funeral Home, 144 Salem Street, Malden on Wednesday, May 6, 2009 at 11AM. Rev. Randall P. Ferrara, Pastor of The First Church in Malden, Congregational will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody. Visitation will be held in the funeral home on Tuesday, May 5, 2009 from 4 to 8 PM.
