Frank Marino
Frank
Marino, 71, a longtime resident of Malden, died Wednesday,
September 17, 2008 at Sawtelle Family Hospice House in Reading,
Massachusetts. Frank was born and raised in Boston's North
End. He attended Charlestown High School while growing up, and
after graduating in 1955, he attended Northeastern College.
Over the years Frank had worked for many years at Nabisco foods
before taking employment with Sweetheart Plastics in
Somerville. He worked as a mechanic in the machine shop at
the plastics company.
He worked there until the year 2000 when he retired. During
that time Frank had moved from Boston to Melrose, before
settling in Malden in 1970.
Frank was
proud of his Italian heritage and became a member and Past
President of the St. Josephs Society, North End, and was also a
member of the Italian American War Veterans, Post 8, Medford. More
recently, Frank’s greatest joy was spending family time playing
with grandchildren.
He is survived
by his sons, Christopher A. Marino of Bedford, and Gregory A.
Marino of Weymouth, his grandchildren, Isabelle, Hunter,
Mallory, Kate, and Anderson, and his very dear friend, Patricia
Breault of Malden.
Frank was
preceded in death by his brothers, Phillip and Salvatore, and his
sister, Christina and Nancy.
Visitation
will be held at the Weir MacCuish Golden Rule Funeral Home, 144
Salem Street, Malden, on Friday, Sept 19th, from
2-4, 7-9

Funeral
services will be held Saturday, September 20, 2008, 11:00 A.M.
at the Maplewood Baptist Church, 729 Salem Street, Malden. Rev.
Gary L. McClenthen, Pastor of the Maplewood Baptist Church will
be officiating.
