Laura Louise McComb-Murray
Laura L. (DiNunzio) McComb-Murray of Malden passed away in her home on Tuesday, August 24, 2010 after a long illness, she was 53. Born on October 20, 1956 in Oklahoma, she was the daughter of Lucille M. (Travers) DiNunzio and the late William P. DiNunzio. At the age of one, she and her family relocated to Malden after her father was discharged from the service. Laura was raised and educated in Malden and was a graduate of Malden High School with the Class of 1974. She married her sweetheart, Kenneth G. Murray in April of 2001. For the past ten years, Laura worked as the office manager in the Epilepsy Department for the Massachusetts General Hospital. Laura is survived by her husband, Kenneth G. Murray, her children, Matt McComb and his fiancé, Kristin Bruno, of North Reading and Donna Little and her husband, Jeffrey, of Leominster, her step-children, Colleen H. Ryan of Malden and Nathan K. Murray of NY, her mother, Lucille M. (Travers) DiNunzio, her siblings, Paul J. DiNunzio and his wife, Jacquelyn, of Tewksbury and Donna M. Vining and her husband, Steven, of Saugus and her grandchildren, Jenna M. and Justin D. Little, both of Leominster, and Ella C. Girardi of Malden. Loving aunt of Cory Vining & Sydney DiNunzio. Visitation will be held in the Weir-MacCuish Golden Rule Funeral Home, 144 Salem Street, Malden, on Thursday August 26, 2010 from 4 to 7:30 PM immediately followed by a Memorial Service at 7:30PM. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Laura’s memory may be made to either: the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St. Framingham, MA 01701 or Partners Hospice, Dev. Office, 281 Winter St. Ste 200, Waltham, MA 02451-8713.
