Veronica
Frances Miller
Veronica F. (Orlowski) Miller of Everett, died Tuesday, February
9, 2010 in the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, she was
90. Born on February 23, 1919 in Lynn, MA, she was the daughter
of the late Francis and Karoline (Klatka) Orlowski. Veronica
was raised and educated in Lynn. In 1937, Veronica married her
sweetheart, M. Michael “Hap” Miller in Nashua. The couple lived
in a few Everett residences before finally moving to the
family’s home in Everett where Veronica was currently living.
Hap and Veronica spent over 52 years in marriage together,
raising and caring for their family, until Hap’s passing in
1989. Veronica was a woman of simple tastes and enjoyed her
independence. She had many wonderful times with her family and
grandchildren at the family’s summer home on Cobbett’s Pond in
Windham, NH.
Veronica is survived by her children, Carolyn B. Pierpont of
Nashua, NH, Robert S. Miller and his wife, Mary of Malden, and
Judith A. Walsh and her husband, James of Malden, her brother,
Edward Orlowski of CT, seven grandchildren and twelve
great-grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews.
In addition to
her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her
son-in-law, Donald Pierpont and her sister-in-law, Barbara
Orlowski.
Visitation
will be in the Weir - MacCuish Golden Rule Funeral Home, 144
Salem Street, Malden on Friday, February 12, 2010
from 4 to 8 PM.
Funeral services will be held in the funeral home on Saturday,
February 13, 2010 at 11 AM. Rev. Lawrence French will be
officiating. Burial will follow in the Glenwood Cemetery,
Everett.
