Antonio B. Santos, a long time resident of Malden, passed away on Nov 12th, at the Mount Auburn Hospital in Cambridge. Antonio was born in the Philippines in 1935, the son of Rafael and Crisanta Santos. While in his home country, he worked as an architect. In Nov of 1978, he married his sweetheart, Sonia Fojas. The two moved to the US in 1987, and settled down in the Malden area. Antonio went to work for the Dept of Unemployment and Training as a project manager. He retired around 3 years ago. Antonio enjoyed working with computers, and in his free time appreciated being able to relax at home watching television. He is survived by his wife Sonia, as well as eleven brothers and sisters, and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held from the Weir-MacCuish Golden Rule Funeral Home, 144 Salem Street, Malden, on Sat, Nov 19th, at 9AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Josephs Church, 770 Salem St, Malden, at 10AM. Interment private. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Fri, Nov 18th, from 4-8PM. |
