Priscilla Ann Sfaxi

 

     Priscilla A. (Wennerberg) Sfaxi of Malden died Friday, September 26, 2008 at the Melrose-Wakefield Hospital in Melrose, she was 55.  Born on September 11, 1953 in Worcester, she was the daughter of the late Roland and Shirley (Dean) Wennerberg.  Priscilla was raised and educated in Worcester.  She was a graduate of Doherty High School, located l in Worcester.  Priscilla married Mouldi “Dean” Sfaxi on May 1, 1976 in Worcester.  A few years later, the couple was blessed with a daughter, Najette.  The family eventually moved from Worcester to Malden in the late 1980’s.  Priscilla worked a short while for the John Hancock Life Insurance Co. in Boston but left the company so she could dedicate herself to her raising and caring for her family.

     Priscilla is survived by her husband, Mouldi “Dean” Sfaxi of Malden, her daughter, Najette Sfaxi of Malden, her brother, Carlton Wennerberg and his wife, Lynne of West Boylston, and her nephew, Christopher, and nieces, Erica and Tara Wennerberg.

     A funeral service will be held in the Weir-MacCuish Golden Rule Funeral Home, 144 Salem Street, Malden on Wednesday, October 1, 2008 at 11 AM.  Rev. Martha A. Dominy, Pastor of the First Baptist Church in Malden will be officiating.  Burial will follow in the Forest Dale Cemetery, Malden.

Visitation will be held in the funeral home on Tuesday, September 30, 2008 from 5 to 8 PM. 

     In lieu of flowers, contributions in Priscilla’s memory may be made to the The Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, MA Affiliate, PO Box 415012, Boston, MA 02241-5012 or the Lupus Foundation of New England, 40 Speen Street, Suite 205, Framingham, MA 01701.
