95, a
longtime
resident of Malden, died Thursday, July 31, 2008 in Waltham,

and raised in Malden. He completed most of his education in
Malden, before his family moved to Medford in his final year of
high school. He completed his education and graduated from
Medford High School with the class of 1931. It was there he met
his sweetheart, Bina R. Padula. The two were married in 1935 in
St. Francis of Assisi in Medford. They soon moved to Malden
where they raised their four children. The couple shared over 50
years together until Bina's passing in 1987. Once WWII broke
out, Carl was unable to enlist because of his family
