Charlene Surette-Watts
Charlene Surette-Watts, of Saugus, formerly of Malden, passed away on July 27th, at the Whidden Memorial Hospital in Everett after a lengthy illness. Charlene was born in Malden and at an early age she moved to Saugus where she was raised and educated. She graduated from Saugus High with the Class of 1988. She had been living in Reading for a short time before moving to Medford about 4 years ago. Charlene loved children, and had even worked as a nanny until health issues prevented her from working. She still enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her niece and nephew. She is survived by her parents, Ronald C. and Jean E. (Watts) Surette of Saugus, her brother Ronald J. Surette of Saugus, her sister Jeanne Bergeron of Swamscott, her grandparents, Joseph and Hilda Surette, her niece Tiffany, her nephew Alex, as well as many other auntss and uncles. Visitation for Charlene will be held at the Weir Funeral Home, 144 Salem Street, Malden, on Sunday, July 31, from 4 - 8 PM. Funeral services will be held on Monday, Aug 1st, at 10 AM at the funeral home. Interment to be private. |
