ZSCHOKKE, Elizabeth F. “Betty” went home to the Lord Monday, January 18, 2010, at 77 years old.  She was the beloved wife of Herbert P. Zschokke of Malden and recently Marlboro.  She was born on Sept. 8, 1932 in Melrose, Mass, and graduated from Melrose High School.  She was honorably discharged from the US Air Force in 1953.  She worked 30 years for the state in the unemployment offices in Malden, Woburn, and Boston.  She was an accomplished painter, crochet artist and a figure skater, skating with the Skating Club of Boston, and the likes of Dick Button and Tenley Albright.  She loved traveling and family.  Betty was a blessing to family, friends, co-workers and everyone she met. 

Betty was predeceased by her parents, Harold and Genevieve (Derrington) Frink, her brother Richard D. Frink, and her sister Kathleen T. Murray.  Betty leaves her four loving children, Mary DeWitt and husband Michael of Burlington, MA, Paul  Zschokke and wife Deborah of Pueblo, Colorado, Peter Zschokke and wife Jennifer of Southborough, MA, and Christine Zschokke of Acton, She is survived by her dear sisters Jane Frink of Peabody and Mariellen Simpson of Danvers.  MA.  Her 5 grandchildren, Alicia, Matt, Michael, Kyle and Ben will miss her very much.

Visitation will be held at Weir Funeral Home 144 Salem St. in Malden on Thursday from 4 - 8 pm.  Funeral services will be held from the funeral home on Friday, Jan 22, at 9 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in  Sacred Heart Parish, Malden, at 10 AM.
