Forest Dale Cemetery, comprising of 61 acres, was dedicated on Memorial Day, May 30th, 1885.
On the left, headstones spread across part of section 1 in the cemetery. Below, are some of the veterans lots, note the American Flags that were placed there for Veterans Day.
Even today, lining up like soldiers, stand the veteran markers.
This section dates back to the Spanish American War
Throughout Malden cemeteries, there are veterans buried from every war going as far back as the American Revolution.
One of the aspects of Forest Dale Cemetery that really stands out compared to some other cemeteries, is the beauty and detail that has gone into the monuments, especially in the older sections.
