Aida M. (Scapicchio) Lombardi

Aida M. (Scapicchio) Lombardi. Age 90 years of Deltona, FL, formerly of Malden, died Sunday, May 6, 2012 in Americare Assisted Living after a lengthy illness. She was the wife of the late George P. Lombardi, and the daughter of the late Luigi and Giovanna (Novia) Scapicchio. Born and raised in Malden, she lived there for most of her life before moving to Florida in recent years.

Aida was educated in Malden Schools and attended Chevarus Catholic School in Malden. She was a communicant of Sacred Hearts Church as well as Immaculate Conception Church in Malden. She worked as a secretary for Amaco Oil in Chelsea and later as a bookkeeper for Antonucci Bros. Masonry Contractors in Malden.

She is survived by her two daughters, Joanne M. Lombardi of Stoneham and Paula L. Rossiter and her husband Ronald of Deltona, FL. She was the sister of the late Iolanda Scapicchio
