Andrew Brian LaFauci

Andrew B. LaFauci of Lawrence, formerly of Melrose and Malden passed at his home on February 7, 2012, he was 34. Born in Malden on June 27, 1977, he was the son of John LaFauci and the late Mary (Zampitella) LaFauci. Raised and educated in Malden, Andy attended the Chevrus School before graduating from Melrose High School. After briefly attending Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston, Andy attended and graduated from Massachusetts Bay Community College with an Associate's Degree in Information Technology. Andy was employed in sales and marketing; in particular working with telemarketing as well as mortgages. Andy married his wife, Ami L. (Jones) on August 12, 2006 and the couple spent almost 6 years in marriage together until his untimely passing.

Andy was an avid Boston sports fan; most especially the Bruins, Red Sox and Patriots. Andy loved hockey and played for many years in the areas adult hockey leagues. Andy also enjoyed many wonderful times at his family's home on Arlington Pond in Salem, NH boating, fishing, water-skiing and spending quality time with his wonderful family.

In addition to his wife Ami, Andrew is survived by his father John LaFauci of Melrose, his brother Jay LaFauci and his wife, Jeanne of Malden, his aunt, Linda Gallant and her husband, Stephen of Melrose, his aunt, Jane Z. Murphy and her husband William of Lexington, his uncle, Richard LaFauci and his wife Helen of Salem, NH, his aunt, Nancy LaFauci of Philadelphia, PA, his uncle, Kenneth LaFauci of Malden, his Godson, Evan LaFauci, his parent-in-laws, Wayne and Lorraine Jones of Peabody, and his beloved dog, Bruin, as well as many cousins and friends.

Andrew was preceded in death by his mother, Mary LaFauci, formerly of Melrose and two uncles, Stephen LaFauci, formerly of Philadelphia, PA and Frank LaFauci, formerly of Malden

Visitation will be in the Weir-MacCuish Funeral Home, 144 Salem Street, Malden, on Thursday, February 9, 2012 from 4 PM to 8 PM.

Funeral services will be held in the funeral home on Friday, February 10, 2012 at 8 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Joseph's Church, 770 Salem Street, Malden at 9 AM. Interment will follow in the Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody.
