Antonietta (DeDonato) LePore, a longtime resident of Burlington, passed away in her home on Friday, September 5, 2025, at the age of 90. Antonietta was born in Boston in 1934, the daughter of the late Michael and Angelica DeDonato. At an early age the family moved from Charlestown to Medford. She graduated from Medford High School with the Class of 1952. She then began her career as a secretary, first at John Hancock, and then at the Greyhound Company, where she worked until her retirement. In 1974, she married her sweetheart, Victor LePore. They shared nearly 40 years together until his passing in 2012. In her spare time, Antonietta enjoyed reading and traveling. She was also a generous supporter of many charities such as Habitat for Humanity , Shriners Hospital , Red Cross and the Catholic Church.
She was the loving sister of Veneranda DeDonato of Medford, Diana Iula and late husband Anthony Iula of Holbrook, and the late Frank DeDonato, Mary DeDonato, and Camilla Tasker, the late Florence and Peter Pierce, and sister in law of Bernice Caruso and the late Gerry Caruso. Antonietta was also survived by many nieces and nephews and many grandnieces and grandnephews.
Funeral services will be held from the Weir – MacCuish Golden Rule Funeral Home, 144 Salem St, Malden on Friday, September 12th,at 8:30 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in the Immaculate Conception Church, Malden at 10 AM
Entombment to follow in the Mausoleum at Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.
