Beverly M. (James) Cairney, a longtime resident of Malden, passed away on Sat, October 27th, in Winchester. Beverly was born in Albuquerque, NM in 1949, the daughter of Archie and Mary James. She was raised in the Midwest, settling down in Colorado where she met her future husband Bruce, while he was in the service there. They were married in Pueblo Colorado in 1971, and returned to the Boston area after Bruces discharge. They shared 46 years of devotion to each other until Bruce's passing just last year.
Beverly had worked at the Quick Stick Label Company in Everett for many years, retiring in 2012.
She is survived by her brother in law Walter Brooks and brother, Kenneth W. James of WI, as well as several nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband Bruce J. Cairney and sister-in-law Nancy Brooks.
Calling hours will be held the Weir-MacCuish Funeral Home, 144 Salem St, Malden, on Thursday, Nov 1st, from 6-8 PM. Private family interment will take place in Woodlawn Cemetery.
