Carolyn R. (Biancucci) MacLennan, a retired secretary, passed away on Friday, December 29, in Florida. Carolyn was born in Revere in 1944, the daughter of Vincent and Rose Biancucci. She was raised in East Boston before the family moved to Malden where she graduated in 1962. She then worked as an Executive Secretary until marrying and starting her family.
Once her children were grown, she returned to secretarial work, initially at Malden High School, and then at the Human Resource Institute for many years.
Carolyn and David F. MacLennan III wed on May 28, 1988, and enjoyed many happy years together. David served in the US Army from 1958 - 1961 and then with Malden Fire Dept. for 25 years, retiring as a Lieutenant in 1997. They enjoyed traveling and their vacations took them all around the world.
David passed in April 2020 and is survived by his sister Carol. After his passing, Carolyn relocated to Florida with her daughter Elaine.
Carolyn is survived by her daughters Elaine and Lynda Morbi, her brother Jimmy Biancucci and wife Linda of Salem, NH, and her grandchildren Ashley Harris and Nicole Racca.
Funeral services will be held from the Weir-MacCuish Golden Rule Funeral Home, 144 Salem St, Malden, on Friday, January 12, at 8:30 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Sacred Hearts Church, Malden at 10 AM. Interment to follow in Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
