Chet C Johnson

Chet Johnson, 78, passed away February 9th 2025. The son of Donald and Martha (Gunter) Johnson Chet was raised in the Weymouth area of Massachusetts. After graduating High School Chet enlisted in the Navy serving in the Vietnam War. In 1990 he married the love of his life Eileen, the two blended their families and Chet became the father of Paul, Kim and Kristina as well as his two daughters Linda and Christine whom he recently reconnected with. In his free time Chet enjoyed going to the casino, playing cards with friends, fishing but he especially loved spending time with his grandchildren.

Chet is survived by his wife Eileen Johnson, his children Kim Brant, Kristina Bramante, Linda Garcia and Christine Smith, his grandchildren John Paul Brant, Andrew Brant, Kayla Bramante, Nicholas Bramante, Emilie Brant, Nicole and Aidan Beausoleil and Garrick Garcia, his brother David Johnson as well as many other family members and friends who will miss him dearly. Chet was predeceased by his son Paul Brant.

Funeral Services will be held at the Weir-MacCuish Golden Rule Funeral Home, 144 Salem St, Malden on Saturday February 15th at 5pm with visitation starting at 2pm.
