Daniel S.Hagan,(66), of Londonderry, NH passed away peacefully on March 29 2023, at Catholic Medical Center, Manchester, NH. Daniel is survived by his children; daughter Kathleen Hagan, of Manchester, NH; daughter Courtney Hagan and long time partner Shawn McCann, of Eureka, CA; son Ryan Hagan and girlfriend Julia Masson, of Nashua, NH; beloved granddaughters, Madison Rose and Olivia Elizabeth; the mother of his children, Mary Hagan, of Salem, NH; sister Luanne Hagan, of Malden, MA; brother Dennis and wife Patricia Hagan of Burlington, MA; and many loved nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his brother, Richard Hagan; sister, Joanne Geddry; and nephew, Steven Geddry.
Daniel was born on February 28th 1957 in Chelsea, MA, to the late Arthur Hagan and Elenor(Gillespie)Hagan. Daniel graduated from Northeast Vocational Tech in 1976. He spent most of his life in Malden, MA, before moving his family to Derry, NH in 2000. He worked as a proud Union Laborer for Local 22 for 30 years until his early retirement in 2004 due to work related injury. He enjoyed spending time outdoors. Fishing, 4-wheeling, yard work and spending time with family and friends. He took great pride in his children. He could always be found at Trafton Park in Malden coaching a baseball or softball game; or on the ice coaching Ryan in hockey. Daniel took the most pride in being a Papa. He had an unbreakable bond with his Madison Rose.
Daniel enjoyed anything Boston sports related; Red Sox, Patriots, and especially the Bruins. He could always be found listening to or watching a game. His family and friends will always remember him as a hardworking and generous man.
To the staff at CMC-thank you so much for helping us through this hard time. We'll always remember how well you all cared for our father.
Calling hours for Daniel will be held on Wednesday, April 5th at Weir Mac Cuish Family Funeral Home 144 Salem St. Malden, MA 02148 from 4-7pm. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Daniel's life.
