David P. Ryan

David P. Ryan, a retired Manufacturing Manager for General Electric, passed away suddenly in his home on September 1.   David was born in 1956, the son of Paul and Norma Ryan.  He was raised and educated in Malden, and graduated from Malden Catholic High School with the Class of 1974.   After attending Northeastern University for a year, David enlisted in the US Army.   Upon his honorable discharge, he returned to the Malden area.   After marrying his wife Charlotte Keller, the two settled down to raise their family.  David went to work at the GE Manufacturing Plant in Wilmington, and after over 20 years he retired  as the manufacturing manager. 

He is survived by his children, Shane Galser of Henderson, NV, Chad Galster of Bismark, ND, and Jerrad Ryan of Boynton Beach, FL, His mother, Norma (Wilson) Ryan of Lynn, his brother Michael Ryan of Danvers, his sister Laurie Sanderson of Lynn, and his grandchildren, Edward and Jack. 

David was preceded in death by his wife Charlotte, his father Paul Ryan, his brother Robert Ryan, and his sister Arlene Ryan.

Funeral services will be held graveside at Forest Dale Cemetery, 150 Forest St, Malden on Wednesday, Sept 13th, at 11 AM.
