Deborah A. Ksypka, a lifelong resident of Chelsea, passed away in Chelsea at the age of 74. Debra was born in Chelsea in 1950, the daughter of Walter and Helen Ksypka. She was raised and educated in Chelsea, graduating from Chelsea High School with the Class of 1968. She went on to Bunker Hill College where she earned her nursing degree. Over the years she worked as nurse in many facilities, including the Chelsea Naval Hospital, the Chelsea Soldiers Home, Courtyard Nursing Home, and High Point Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Her nursing skills also allowed her to be her fathers primary caretaker as his health waned in his later years. Debra enjoyed spending time with children and loved animals.
She is survived by her cousins, Chrisopher Borum and Jeanine Bogdonski, and her lifelong friend, Lorrainne Cadle.
A memorial service for Deborah will be held from the Weir MacCuish Funeral Home, 144 Salem ST, Malden on Wednesday, April 30th, at 9AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial 770 Salem St, Malden at a later date, followed by Interment in Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.
