Demming F."Demmy" Rocker II, a resident of Milford, passed away suddenly at his home on Wed, February 10th. Demmy was born in Lynn, MA, in 1948, the son of Demming F. Sr, and Barbara (Clements) Rocker. After high school, he attended Salem St. College. He went on to become a Culinary Chef, and took employment at Logan Airport with Sky Cap until his retirement in 2011. In addition to being a Chef, Demmy was also an Entrepreneur. He was also a proud member of the Native American Chappaquiddick tribe of Massachusetts. Demmy loved cooking, dancing, laughing and spending quality time with family and friends.
He is survived by his children, Shelley Rocker of Brockton and Demming F. Rocker III of Milford, his siblings, Patricia Potter, Cleo Rocha, Frances Montero, Marion Boothe, Faith Rocker, Kevin Rocker, his grandchildren, Jeremy, Shamika, Shalaye, Nicholas, and Nia, his great grandson Jeremy "Little J", as well as many nieces and nephews.
Demmy was preceded in death by his parents, Demming and Barbara Rocker, and his siblings, Bert Rocker and Carolyn Rocker.
A funeral service for Demmy will be held on Friday, Feb 19th, at 12 Noon, at the Weir-MacCuish Golden Rule Funeral Home, 144 Salem St, Malden, with visitation held from 10 - 12. Interment will be private.
