Diane Lynne (Boyd) Lanouette, a lifelong resident of Malden, passed away on Tuesday, December 26th, after a brief illness. Diane was born in 1954, the daughter of John and Claire Boyd. She was raised and educated in Malden, graduating from Malden High School with the Class of 1972. She then attended Bunker Hill Community College where she earned her associate degree. Diane went on to work for the Stone & Webster Engineering Corp, where she worked as a System Coordinator for the Personnel Department. In her free time, she enjoyed crocheting, reading, and spending time with her family and five grandchildren. She was a parishioner of Sacred Hearts church in Malden and also of Stoneham Memorial Seventh day Adventist church in Stoneham.
She is survived by her daughter, Dawn M. Johnson, husband Paul and their four children Kylee, Bryan, Keira, and Alysa of Effingham, NH, Her Son-in-Law Richard Edwards and his son Benjamin, of Leeds, England, three brothers John “Jackie” Boyd and his wife Karen of OR, Dennis J. Boyd of Stoneham MA, Stephen M. Boyd of Stoneham ma. Also, many nieces, nephews, and cousins and friends.
Diane was preceded in death by her parents, her daughter Heather L. Lanouette-Edwards, her sister Debra E. Bennett, and her brothers, William A. Boyd, and Robert A. Boyd.
Funeral services will be held at the Weir-MacCuish Golden Rule Funeral Home, 144 Salem St, Malden on Thursday, January 4th, at 10 AM. Committal will follow in the Mausoleum at Holy Cross Cemetery.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, January 3rd, from 4 – 8 PM.
