Edward Glennon Obituary

Edward F. Glennon Sr., a longtime resident of Malden, passed away on Monday, February 28th.   Edward was born in Malden in 1956, the son of Leo and Helen Glennon.   He was raised and educated in Malden, and went into the automotive repair industry.  He became the owner of Culleton Brothers Autobody and Repair, and ran the establishment until his recent retirement. 

In 1977, Ed married his sweetheart, Leeanne F. Smith, and the two spent a couple years in the area before settling down in Lynnfield in 1980 to raise their family.   The two shared 45 years of marriage together. Ed loved everything about cars, and auto racing, and proudly restored several cars.  He also was a member of the Elks Lodge of Malden and the Moose Lodge of Malden.

He is survived by his wife, Leeanne F. Glennon, his children, Edward F. Glennon Jr. of Lynnfield and Shannon M. Glennon of Lynn, his brothers Paul Glennon of FL, and Billy Glennon of FL, and his sister, Connie Cavanaugh of Billerica.

Edward was preceded in death by his brothers Leo and Arthur Glennon, and his sister, Kathy Sousa.

A night of visitation will be held for Edward on Sunday, March 6th, from 2 – 6 PM.
