Fannie Jeune, a loving housewife, and mother, passed away in her home on Saturday, March 11th. Fannie was born in Verrettes, Haiti, in 1921. She was raised and educated in Haiti, and at 23 she married her sweetheart, Antoine Jeune. The two settled down to raise 7 of their 16 children. Fannie moved to the United States about 25 years ago shortly after the death of her Husband Antoine, settling down in Malden.
Fannie was a "Prayer Warrior" whose life revolved around the Word of God. She regularly attended the North Shore Evangelical Missionary Church in Everett where she serve as a faithful deaconess and was faithful to her bible studies.
She is survived by her children, Jean Louis Jeune of Haiti, Marthane Jeune-Barthelemy and son-in-law Roland Barthelemy of Malden, Melodieu Kenold Jeune, and daughter-in-law Ciliana Geffrard of Haiti, and Elitane Jeune Leriche of Everett, as well as many many many grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Fanie was preceded in death by her husband Antoine Jeune, and her children, Saint-Rius Jeune, Franise Jeune Charles, and Antoinise Jeune.
Funeral services will be held in the Missionary Church of the Haitian Community, 100 Temple St, Somerville, MA on Saturday, March 25th, with visitation from 9:00 to 10:00, and service beginning at 10:00. Interment to follow in Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.
