, passed away at the Clough Center in New London, NH on Sunday, April 15, 2012. Beryl was born in Atlantic City, NJ in 1926, the daughter of Grover C. and Bertha (Cadwell) Ewan. After graduating from High School, she married William E. Ramsdell Jr., and the two settled down in Malden where they raised their family. They shared many wonderful years together until Williams passing in 1961. She later found love again and married Charles T. Hoskin, who passed away in 1989.
Beryl was a dedicated member of the Maplewood Baptist Church in Malden. There she sang with the Choir, was part of the Women's Bible Study Club, and was responsible for arranging flowers in the Church. What she was most dedicated to however, was the raising of her seven children.
She is survived by her children, Christine E. Horton of VA, Marion A. Devir of South Sutton, NH, William E. Ramsdell III of Brockton, MA, Caren M. Ramsdell of Salem NH, Ronald A. Ramsdell of Salem NH, John H. Ramsdell of Rochester, NH, and the late Gail M. Ramsdell, her brother William Ewan of NJ. She is survived by 18 grandchildren and 23 grt-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Beryl was preceded in death by her parents, Grover and Bertha Ewan, and her daughter, Gail M. Ramsdell.
A memorial service for Beryl will be held on Thursday, April 19th, at the Weir MacCuish Golden Rule Funeral Home, 144 Salem St, Malden, at 10AM. Interment to follow in Forest Dale Cemetery, Malden.
