James H. Haugh, age 69, of Andover, Massachusetts, passed away on March 3rd 2022 after a 10 year battle with cancer, surrounded by his loving family. Jim grew up in Stoneham, Massachusetts and graduated from Stoneham High School in 1972 where he was a three sport standout athlete who was inducted into the Stoneham Hall of Fame in 2014. He went on to Mass Bay Community College to play hockey and baseball. Jim was a natural salesman who had a successful career selling restaurant equipment. He loved meeting and talking to new people. Jim’s love of sports was undeniable. He coached his daughters and their teammates in multiple sports including soccer, basketball, and softball through elementary and high school. He was the loudest and most enthusiastic fan. Jim initiated fundraising and oversaw the installation of the batting cages for AHS girls softball. Jim enjoyed life to the fullest, known for his positive attitude, contagious smile and boisterous laugh. Jim’s fondest memories from his youth include summers at Ossipee Lake and vacationing at Hampton Beach with his family. He would never say no to a cookie, donut, or sweet treat and was an avid Red Sox fan. Jim’s favorite days were when he and his love Patty took long drives to the beach for a picnic lunch and a cup of steaming hot chowder. Family was everything to Jim. He loved spending time with Robert Haugh, and his wife Marie, John Haugh and his wife Marie, his niece Emily and nephews Tommy, Michael, Danny and Brian. Jim looked forward to family gatherings especially Christmas Eve festivities at Grammy and Grampys. Jim is survived by his mother Mary Lou Haugh, his wife Patty, daughters Katie Johnson and her husband Erik, Colleen Black and her husband Steve, Kerry Cavanaugh and her husband Patrick. His greatest joy came from being a grandfather to his five grandchildren: Ellie, Hattie, Fiona, Annie and James. Preceded in death by his brother Tommy and father Thomas Haugh.

A Funeral Mass will be held in St. Augustine's Parish, 43 Essex St, Andover, MA 01810, on Tuesday, March 8th at 11 AM. Relatives and friends are invited to meet directly at Church. Visitation has been omitted. Interment will be private.
