Joanne (DelloRusso) Reynolds

Joanne Reynolds (DelloRusso) a long time resident of Malden passed away on February 21st, 2023, while
surrounded by her loving family. Joanne was born February 10 th 1952 in Boston’s North End and was the
daughter of the late Carmen and Giovanna DelloRusso. Joanne was married for 28 years to Richard
Reynolds. In her free time, she loved spending summers down the cape at Old Silver Beach but most
importantly she loved her time with her family, friends, and her dog Molly.
Joanne was known as a strong, wise, confident, and independent woman. She was also the most loving
mother, sister and nonna to all her grandkids. Despite any pain, suffering, or hardship, she always knew
how to smile big and laugh bigger. She was always thinking of everyone else before herself. Joanne was
and always will be the glue that kept everything together.
Joanne is survived by her husband Richard Reynolds, her son William Desmond III, wife Lina Desmond of
Saugus MA, daughter Sharon Rotondo, husband John Rotondo Sr. of Somerville MA, and Richard
Reynolds II of Woburn, her sister Emily Coke, husband Gary Coke of Peabody, Grandchildren William,
John, Michael, Andrew, Sophia, Isabella, Maryssa and Richard as well as several nieces, nephews and her
former husband William Desmond II.
Visitation for Joanne will be held at the Weir-MacCuish Golden Rule Funeral Home, 144 Salem St,
Malden on Friday February 24th from 9 – 10:30 am Followed by services at St.Joseph’s Church in Malden
(770 Salem St, Malden, MA.) Interment at Calvary Cemetery (686 Washington St, Winchester, MA) to
follow services. In lieu of flowers please consider donating in Joanne’s name to the Dana Faber Cancer
Society.
