John J. O'Leary

John O’Leary, June 25, 1939 to January 23, 2025. Predeceased by parents Daniel and Bridgit (Wholey) O’Leary, sisters Cathleen Crowley and Eileen O’Leary, and brothers James, Daniel, and Francis O’Leary.  Survived by his children Eileen Dolan of NH, Maureen Terenzi of Medford, Nancy Stempin of NJ, Karen O’Leary of Wilmington, and Kevin O’Leary of GA, and 8 grandchildren.  
John passed after a brief illness, his companion Lu Grifone and her sister Penny Cole were by his side.  He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and friends. 
John retired as a head electrician for Massport. He was very proud of his Irish heritage and was a member of several clubs, The Knights and Ladys of Finsbarre, the Hibernians Div 12 of Malden, and the Knights of Columbus, Charlestown. 
As per the request of John, there are no services.  A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date when the weather is warmer.
