John F (Jr.) Purdham

John F. Purdham, a retired Master Electrician, passed away on Tuesday, March 28th, in Salem.   John was born in Malden in 1944, the son of John Purdham and Elinor Dion.  After high school, John enlisted in the US Army.   He was stationed  in Germany and served in the Vietnam War, and upon his honorable release, John returned to the Boston area.  John went on to become a Master Electrician, and was a proud member of Local 103.  He enjoyed fishing and boating, and spending time with his dog.

He is survived by his children, Joel Purdham, Jill Purdham, Marc Purdham and Jack Purdham, his sister Regina Purdham, and his grandchildren, Jevohn, and Kaylee

He was predeceased by his Parents John Purdham Sr. and Elinor Dion and his son John Purdham.

A memorial will be held for John at the Weir – MacCuish Golden Rule Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 19th, at 2 PM, with visitation from 12 - 2.
