Justin Charles

Justin Charles, a retired farmer from Haiti, passed away on Thursday, December 12, 2024, at the age of 98.   Justin was born in 1926, the son of Esperanc Charles and Dalila Alcime in Cap Hatian, Haiti.    He was raised and  educated there, and after completing his education he married his sweetheart, Vadilia Louis, the two settled down to raise their family. 
He is survived by his children, Serge Charles of Dorchester, Jusnert Charles of Medford, Rutha Charles of Dorchester, Jean Baptist Charles of Webster, Germaine Charles of Dorchester, Arold Charles of Dorchster, and Smith Charles of Taunton, his sister Christine Charles Firmin of Randloph, as well as 17 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. 
Funeral serives will be held at the 1st Baptist Church of Melrose, 561 Main St, Melrose on Saturday, December 28th, at 9AM.  Interment to follow in Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.
Visitation will be held at the Weir – MacCuish Funeral Home, 144 Salem St, Malden, on Friday, December 27th, from 6PM to 9 PM.
