Karen J. (Noble) Grondin, a longtime resident of Malden, passed away on Saturday, February 12th, surrounded by her loving family. Karen was born in Boston in 1955, the daughter of Joseph and Margaret Noble. She was raised and educated in Jamaica Plain. Karen married her sweetheart, Joseph J. Grondin. A couple years later they moved to Malden where they raised their family. They would have celebrated 50 years of marriage together this year. Karen had worked at the Boston Medical Center as an ER Technician, until recent health issues prevented her from working. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who cherished spending time with the family. She also loved music and going shopping.
She is survived by her husband Joseph J. Grondin, her children, Melissa J. Grondin of Malden, Joseph P. Grondin and his wife Valerie of Malden, her siblings, JoAnn L. Shields of Falmouth, Deborah J. Wittich of Westwood, Joseph K. Noble of Jamaica Plain, Sandra L. Nestor of Woburn, Ronald A. Noble of Plymouth, and Cheryl A. Tierno of N. Reading, and her grandchildren, Ava, Emilia, Olivia, and Julian. Aunt to many nieces and nephews.
