Obituary
Kevin P. Murray, a member of the IUEC Local 4, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, September 6th, in his home. Kevin was born in Malden in 1966, he was predeceased by his parents, Edward W (Buddy) and Marion Murray, and nephew to the late Kathleen (Kaye) and Robert Devanna, and Carl Sorensen. He was raised and educated in Malden, graduating from Malden High School with the Class of 1984. After high school, he first worked at Clay Chevrolet, before joining the IUEC Local 4 and becoming an elevator mechanic. Kevin enjoyed car racing and worked on pit crews, he also enjoyed air shows, motorcycles, music, cards, and The 3 Stooges.
He is survived by his son Liam Murray of Auburn, NH, his sister, Kathy Murray of Malden and Joan Murray of Malden, and his brother, Douglas Murray and wife Mary of Malden, his Aunt Joan Sorenson of NH, and several cousins.
Visitation will be held at the Weir-MacCuish Golden Rule Funeral Home, 144 Salem St, Malden on Tuesday, September 12, from 4-8 PM. Interment services will be held graveside at a later date.
