Edward P. (Pat) Lombardi went home to God after 80 years on earth on Saturday, November 26, 2011 after a long struggle with Alzheimer's Disease. He is survived by his loving wife, Marie A. (Clancy) Lombardi, and his devoted son Edward, Jr. (Teddy) and daughter-in-law Valerie. Pat is the son of the late Christy and Carmela Lombardi, brother of the late Mark and his wife Alice, Robert and his wife Anna, Christopher and his wife Marie, and Diana and her husband Eugene. He is the brother-in-law of Marguerite Clancy and of the late Sarg and Pauline Clancy. He is a loving uncle to many Lombardi and Clancy nieces and nephews.
Pat was born in Boston in 1931. He moved to Malden at an early age where he was raised. He graduated from Malden High School with the Class of 1949. Pat then attended the Franklin Technical Institute where learned the electrical trade. In 1952, Pat was inducted in the United States Army and served in the Korean War. He was awarded a Purple Heart among other service medals. He was discharged honorably in 1954. He is a 60 year member of Local 103 International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. He was a longtime member and Past Governor of the Malden Moose Lodge 1910. Pat was also a member of the Italian American Citizens Club of Malden. After his retirement, Pat found an interest in restoring old and worn pool tables as a hobby.

Funeral Services will be held from the Weir-MacCuish Golden Rule Funeral Home, 144 Salem St, Malden on Wednesday, November 30th, at 9:30AM, folled by a Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Saint Joseph Church, Malden at 10:30 AM. Graveside services will follow immediately at Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden. Visitation will be at Weir MacCuish Family Funeral Home from 4pm to 8pm on Tuesday, November 29th.
