Maureen E. Simonelli

Maureen E Simonelli, a lifelong resident of Malden, passed away on October 12th at the age of 74.  Maureen was born in Malden in 1948, the daughter of John and Mildred Dineen.  She was raised and educated in Malden, and soon after completing her education, she married her sweetheart, Edward Simonelli.  The two settled down in Malden to raise their family.  They shared nearly 50 years of marriage together until Ed’s passing in 2015.  Maureen was the quiet homebody type who dedicated herself to her family.  In her spare time, she enjoyed shopping.

She is survived by her sons, Edward F. Simonelli Jr of Malden, and Christopher P. Simonelli of Malden, her grandchildren, John, Steven, Joseph, Tiana, Kodie, Nico, Joseph, Aleia, and Olivia, and her great grandchildren Trey, Jordan, Demarius, John Jr. Jeremy, Julius, Steven Jr, and Giovanni.

Maureen was preceded in death by her daughter Tiffany A Simonelli, and her brothers, John “Jackie” Dineen Jr, and William Everly.
