Mr. David W. DeVlaminck
David W. DeVlaminck passed away suddenly in his home in North Hampton, NH on Wednesday, August 1, 2012, he was 71. Born in Melrose, MA on May 13, 1941, he was the son of the late Oscar and Harriet (Hatch) DeVlaminck. David was raised and educated in Everett, MA and was a graduate of Everett High School. He worked for over twenty years for the M.B.T.A. as a machinist and foreman. David enjoyed spending time at both the North End and Newburyport Boat Clubs, where he met many friends. He also really enjoyed playing at Foxwoods as well as Las Vegas, where he also lived for some time.
David was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley A. (DeHeter) DeVlaminck. David is survived by his daughter, Kathleen Matson of Hooksett, NH, his grandchildren; Katrina and Joseph Twardosky, both of Hooksett, and his siblings; Marjorie Merrill of Tewksbury and Richard DeVlaminck of Hooksett. He was preced in death by his brother, Donald.
At the family's request, all services will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, contributions in David's memory may be made to the Shriners Hospital for Children. 51 Blossom Street, Boston, MA 02114.
