Mr. Richard Frank Carideo
Richard Frank Carideo, 69, a longtime resident of Malden, passed away on Saturday, November 19, 2011 at the Lighthouse Nursing Care Cente in Revere..
He was born February 18, 1942 in Malden, Massachusetts the son of Frederick J. and Lillian (Concettina) Carideo. Richard was raised in Somerville and Malden, graduating from Malden High School. He then attended St. Anslem's College in NH where he received his Bachelors Degree. He served our country by enlisting in the National Guard, and for a time he was stationed in Texas. Richard had founded his own transportation company and became an international shipper, transporting goods across the Atlantic
He is survived by his brother, Anthony J. Carideo of Las Vegas, NV his niece, Julie Carideo of Los Angeles, CA,. as well as many cousins. .
Richard was preceded in death by his parents, Frederick and Lillian Carideo.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, Nov 26th, at 11:30 AM at Forest Dale Cemtery, 150 Forest Street, Malden. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 9:30 to 11:30.
