Mrs. Hazel W. Hickman
Hazel W. (Parsons) Hickman, a longtime resident of Malden, passed away Friday, November 23, 2012 in her home, she was 84. Born in Cordroy Valley, Newfoundland, she was the daughter of the late George W. and Clara A. (Farnell) Parsons. Hazel was raised and educated in Everett. She was also a very active member of St. Luke's Episcopal Church in Malden.
Beloved wife of the late Lloyd Hickman. Loving mother of Lloyd S. Hickman of Carver and Carol Hickman of Malden. Adored grandmother of Marisue Brugliera, Lloyd T. Hickman, Elizabeth Hickman, and Joseph Hickman. Great-grandmother of Alora and Katie Hickman. Sister of George Parsons, Jean Mead, and the late Harry Parsons. Dear friend of Christine Hofman of Malden.
A funeral service will be held in the Weir-MacCuish Golden Rule Funeral Home, 144 Salem Street, Malden on Tuesday, November 27, 2012 at 10AM. Burial will follow in the Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett. Rev. David Dismas will be presiding.
Visitation will be held in the funeral home on Monday, November 26, 2012 from 4 to 8 PM.
