Nancy Hadley Obituary

Nancy Jean Hadley, a longtime resident of Stoneham, passed away on Thursday, December 25th, at the age of 78.  Nancy was born in Everett in 1947, the daughter of George and Marguerite Hall.  She was raised and educated in Malden, graduating from Malden High School with the Class of 1964.   She went on to own and operate a gift shop with her husband and later work as the secretary for the dental office of Dr. D'Orlando.   After her marriage to Franklin O. Hadley, the two settled down to raise their children.  She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who enjoyed family, reading, jigsaw puzzles, always winning at Scrabble and spending time with her cats.

She is survived by her sister Beverly and husband Bob Cummings, her childhood best friend Linda Burdick, her children Nannette and husband Jim Skelley, Paul and wife Susan Hadley, as well as Jay, Todd, and Michael Hadley, grandchildren Candace Constantine (raised by Grammy and Papa) and her partner Carlos Rendon II, Ashley and Thomas Constantine, Mitchell, Nicole and David Hadley, and great grandchildren Carlos III, Alessandro, and Jackson Rendon.

Nancy was preceded in death by her husband Franklin, and her sister Diane Burke.

Visitation will be held at the Weir-MacCuish Funeral Home, 144 Salem St Malden, MA, on Friday, January 2nd, from 11AM-1 PM followed immediately by a graveside service in the Glenwood Cemetery, Everett.
