Nicholas J. Scarfo

Nicholas J. Scarfo, 78 of Hudson New Hampshire, peacefully passed away surrounded by family on July 9th 2021. Born in Boston Massachusetts on May 5th 1943 the son of Nicholas V. and Mary A (Polisciano) Scarfo. Nicholas attended East Boston High School and was a star member of the football team until he graduated in 1962. Nicholas went on to marry his wife Dianne in 1968 and the two settled in Wilmington Massachusetts to raise their two daughters and son. When his wife passed Nicholas moved to New Hampshire to be closer to family. Nicholas spent many years working in flooring starting at Fields Corner Linoleum, then moving on to Scarfo's Buy Rite Flooring and finally to Somerville Lumbar. In his free time Nicholas enjoyed gardening, football and spending time with his family and friends all of whom will miss him dearly.

Nicholas is survived by his children Kimberly Otero and husband Bruce of Bedford NH, Gregory Scarfo and wife Maureen of Londonderry NH and Darlene Bain and husband Marc of Hudson NH, his grandchildren Bryana Otero, Nicholas and Sophia Scarfo and Marcus and Anthony Bain as well as many other family members and friends. Nicholas was predeceased by his parents, his wife Dianne (Wiseman) Scarfo and his sister Elizabeth Russo.

Funeral Services for Nicholas will be held at the Weir - MacCuish Funeral Home on Wednesday July 14th at 10am followed by interment at Greenview Memorial Park. In Lieu of flowers please make donations in honor of Nicholas' wife to the ALS Mass Chapter "Team Dianne".
