Obituary

Kathleen Otero, of Greenfield, MA, passed way suddenly on April 22. Kathleen was born in Patterson, NJ, in 1975, the daughter of the late Jose Otero and Kathleen Brannen. Growing up she moved around a lot with her family, going from New Jersey, to Puerto Rico, and then back to the states, settling in the Boston area. She had lived in Cambridge and Malden, and most recently in Greenfield, MA. She enjoyed music and dancing, and had a way of making sure her voice was heard.

She is survived by her husband, Oscar Gonzalez, her children, Kassandra Sanchez of Greenfield, Vanessa Villanueva of Dorchster, Oscar Gonzalez III of Greenfield, and Jose Gonzalez of Greenfield, her siblings, Jose Otero of NH, Bethzaida Otero of Cambridge, Cristina Otero of Cambridge, Zachary Otero of Cambridge, and Joseph Otero of Cambridge, and her grandchildren, Lavender, Giovani, and Kalliopy.

A night of visitation for Kathleen will be held at the Weir Funeral Home, 144 Salem ST, Malden, on Friday, April 30th, from 4 - 6 PM. All other services will be private.
