Pamela V. Hooks (Black), of Malden passed away surrounded by family on October 2nd 2023. Pamela was born in Malden the daughter of the late James and Florence Black. She also grew up in Malden attending and graduating Malden High in 1970. Pamela met Thomas Hooks and the two were married 1976 and settled down in Malden to raise their two sons Thomas and James. During her free time she enjoyed crafting and spending time with her family and friends.

Pamela is survived by her husband Thomas Hooks, her sons Thomas Hooks and wife Johanna Hooks and James Hooks, her grandchildren Thomas J Hooks Jr and Janaya Hooks, sister-in-law Rosemary Black, as well as many other family members and friends. Pamela was preceded in death by her brother James Black Jr.

Visitation for Pamela will be from the Weir-MacCuish Golden Rule Funeral Home, 144 Salem St, Malden on Saturday October 7th from 10-12 with a service at 12 followed by interment at Puritan Lawn Cemetery.
