Pasquale Cappuccio

Pasquale Cappuccio, a longtime resident of Malden, passed away on Friday, Oct 3rd, at Spaulding Hospital in Cambridge at the age of 80. Pasquale was born and raised in Italy. He is one of 5 children of Ralph and Josephine (Barletta) Cappuccio. In May of 1961, he married his sweetheart, Giuseppina Cappuccio, in Avellino, Italy. They soon moved to America and settled down in the Malden area where they raised their children. The two shared over 50 years together until Giuseppina's passing in 2012. Pasquale was an avid gardener, and in years past would make his own wine. He especially enjoyed spending time with family, especially his grandchildren.

He is survived by his children, Michael Cappuccio and his wife Lesley of Saugus, Carmine Cappuccio and his wife Shannon of NC, Susanna Ross and her husband Tim of Winthrop, his daughter in law Laurie Cappuccio of N. Reading, his grandchildren, Joseph, Carley, Olivia, Nicole, Lauryn, Tia, CJ, Jake and Alexandra, his brother, Peter Cappuccio of Italy, and his sisters, Milena Damiano of NY, Rosina Castellano of Argentina, and Immacolata Caruso of Argentina.

Pasquale was preceded in death by his wife Giuseppina, and his son, Ralph Cappuccio.

Funeral services will be held from the Weir MacCuish Golden Rule Funeral Home, 144 Salem St, Malden on Thursday, Oct 9th, at 9AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Sacred Hearts Church, Malden, at 10 AM. Entombment to follow in Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.

Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, Oct 8th, from 4 - 8 PM.
