Patricia Anne Wallask, 56, of Melrose passed away on Thursday, February 3rd.
Born May 3rd 1965, Tricia was raised in Malden, MA where she graduated from Malden High School, Class of 1983, and went on to further her education at Green Mountain College, Class of 1990. After completing her education, Tricia went to work in accounting. She worked at LaRosa & Bille, PC.
Tricia left an impression on everyone she met and her love had the power to invoke change. She had the biggest heart and would give her all in everything she did and said. She intended to retire at her cabin in Maine with her fiancé, Rene, and their dog, Jasper. Those who knew Tricia knew she had a love of baking and swapping recipes with her older brother especially around the holidays. Christmas was her favorite (Thanksgiving second) and she would call herself an elf year-round. Tricia was also an amazing mother to her daughter Sarah, even letting her sneak into her bed at night when she was well into her teenage years. Even though 56 years isn’t a very long time, Tricia left an impression that would last a lifetime.
She is survived by her fiancé Rene LaCau of Melrose, her daughter Sarah Nickerson of Beverly, her parents Neil and Lynne Wallask of Hernando, FL (formerly of Malden), her big brother John Wallask and his partner John Carroll of Mansfield, her big sister Lisa Worth and her husband Walter Worth of Everett, her niece Jocelyn Maloney of New Hampshire, her nephew Craig Maloney of Wisconsin, and a multitude of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who will miss her dearly.
