Peter W Babine

Peter W. Babine of Malden passed away November 19th 2024. Born in Halifax Canada, the son of late Camille and Majorie (Pitts) Babin. Peter came to the United States as a child settling in Malden. He graduated from Malden High School in 1976. Peter was the loving husband of Debra (Ellis) who he shared 42 years with until her passing in 2019. The two raised three wonderful daughters Kimberly, Kerin and Katherine. 

He was a master technician for Isuzu until he retired. During his free time Peter loved spending time with his 7 grandchildren and 2 dogs Remi and Berkley. He also enjoyed riding his motorcycle and as a jack of all trades he was always ready to fix something and if he couldn’t fix it, it probably couldn’t be fixed. Peter was an avid Nascar and Football fan. Later in his life he enjoyed working different concerts at Fenway Park. 

Peter is survived by his children with their spouses Kimberly and Michael Novak of Wenham MA, Kerin and Nelson Sousa of Saugerties NY and Katherine and Scott Campbell of Malden MA, his grandchildren Olivia Novak, Madison Novak, Sophia Novak, Cameron Sousa, Brayden Sousa, Savannah Campbell and Breaelle Campbell, his siblings Richard Babin, Barry and Robin Babine, Juanita and Richard Auffrey and Marilyn Spongberg and the late Yvonne and Bob Marr, Kay Babin, Donald Spongberg as well as many other family members and friends that will miss him dearly.

A memorial service for Peter will be held at the Weir-MacCuish Golden Rule Funeral Home, 144 Salem St, Malden Saturday November 30th from 2-4 pm.
