Pricile Pierre, passed away at the age of 72 after a long battle with cancer. She is survived by her mother, Jeanne Pierre, her children, Lynda and Hemsley Pierre( KC),her grandchildren, Wilkens and Lance, her sisters, Dunia Jean-Louis, Lea Pierre, Herta Pierre, Monise Pierre, Marie Paule Dumas, Myrlande Rigaud, and Marie Laine Pierre, her brothers, Bodner, Gary, Louis(Fredo), Ascene, Jacklin, Dieumaitre and Chavi Pierre, and her nephews and nieces, and grand nieces and nephews.
Pricile was born in Capotille, Haiti on October 19, 1951, to her father who is now deceased, Francois V. Pierre and mother, Jeanne Sylien. She completed her academic studies in Haiti and obtained a diploma in accounting and was working in DGI (Direction General des Impots) until 1989. She then moved to Massachusetts and attended Bunker Hill Community college and majored in human services. She worked with the mentally challenged until her retirement.
Priscile’s two kids Lynda and Hemsley(KC) Pierre and Grandchildren , Wilkens & Lance, were the most important part of her life.
She was a devoted mother who deeply loved her children and always enjoyed cooking for them and supporting them in any way possible. She was a spiritual woman and heavily involved in many church activities by paying tuition for vulnerable kids to have a better education or vocational services to help them on a path to a brighter future.
Priscile would continue to smile through adversity with a spirit of resilience, and humor regardless of pain. As we celebrate her life let’s not forget that she was an inspiration to so many people and let’s not forget to live a simple but spiritual life as she did.
It is with heavy, aching hearts that we say goodbye to our beloved Priscile. The kind of love and affection she passed on to others is not easy to find. She was genuine and kind, generous, honest and loved to share anything she had with everyone.
