Priscilla L, (Guild) McCarthy

Priscilla L, (Guild) McCarthy, of Melrose, passed away on Saturday, April 07, 2012 at the Melrose Wakefield Hospital. Priscilla was born and raised in Malden in 1945, the daughter of Erman and Melba (Murphy) Guild. She graduated from Malden High School with the Class of 1964. Soon after in 1966, she married her sweetheart, Pat McCarthy, and the two settled down together in Malden to raise their family. The two shared over 40 years together until Pat's passing in 2008.

She is survived by her children, Robin L. Ray of Melrose, Jennifer E. Deschaine of Glenville, NY, Brian P. McCarthy of Melrose, and Brenda P. McCarthy of Melrose, her sister, Linda Loeser of Melrose, and her grandchildren, Daniel Ray, Matthew Ray, Lauren Ray, Patrick Deschaine, and Jessica Deschaine
.

Funeral services will be held at the Weir-MacCuish Golden Rule Funeral Home, 144 Salem St, Malden, on Wed, Apr 11th, at 10AM. Interment to follow in Wyoming Cemetery, Melrose. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, from 4-8PM.
