Raymond Comeau

Raymond W. Comeau, a lifelong resident of Malden, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, July 15th, at the age of 62.  Ray was born in Malden MA in 1963, the son of Willie and Adrienne Comeau.  He was raised and educated in Malden, graduating from Malden High School with the Class of 1981.  After attending Bunker Hill Community College, Ray earned his degree in Culinary Arts from Johnson and Wales College.  At the time of his passing, Ray had been working for Aramark as the Assistant Director of Food Services for the Malden High School.

In 1993, Ray married his sweetheart, Christine Chodkowski, in a ceremony in Chelsea.  They shared over 30 years of marriage together.  Ray was dedicated to his family and spent a lot of time caring for his mother, and had a special love for his dog Remi.

He is survived by his wife Christine Comeau, his mother Adrienne Comeau of Melrose, his sister Denise Potter of Peterborough NH, Alan Comeau of Ipswich MA, his nieces and nephews Ryan, Kathryn, Ally, Anna, Bryan, Zachery and of course his beloved dog Remi.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 6, in the Weir – MacCuish Golden Rule Funeral Home, 144 Salem St, Malden at 3 PM, with Visitation from 1 PM to 3 PM.
