Richard R Crosby

Richard R. Crosby of Stoughton passed away on December 2, 2025. Born and raised in Malden Massachusetts, he was the beloved son of Richard and Irene (McGough) Crosby. Throughout his life, Richard remained closely connected to his family and community.

Richard was the loving husband of the late Linda (King) Crosby and the devoted father of the late Richard Crosby. He cherished his family deeply and took great pride in their accomplishments and happiness. Richard found joy in spending his free time reading, watching old movies and television shows, writing poems and fishing, a pastime he greatly enjoyed.

Richard is survived by his mother, Irene Crosby, and his siblings, Kyle Crosby and his wife Wendy, Todd Crosby and his wife Leah. His Aunts Helen Torode and Laura Kupp. Uncle Kenny McGough and wife Bunny. Cousins Sarah, Sean, Sharon and pre-deceased Lisa. His nephews and nieces Justin, Raquel, Kali, Brik, Cassius, Rhiannon and Julian. He also leaves behind his stepdaughter Sarah Madden and her son Seth, along with many other cherished family members and friends who will remember him fondly.

He was predeceased by his wife, Linda Crosby, and his son, Richard Crosby.

Richard's funeral service will be held at the Weir-MacCuish Golden Rule Funeral Home, located at 144 Salem Street, Malden, on Wednesday, December 10th, at 11:00 AM. Visiting hours are scheduled for Tuesday, December 9th, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery in Everett.
