Robert Nicosia, a retired Concierge for the Church Court Hotel in Boston, passed away on Tuesday, January 2, 2024. Robert was born in Malden in 1948, the son of James and Natalie Nicosia. He was raised and educated in Malden. After receiving his associates degree in Business, Robert enlisted in the US Air Force, where he served honorably during the Vietnam War. He served from 1969 until 1976, when his was discharged with the rank of Sgt. He went on to work in the Hotel Industry in Boston, and eventually became a Concierge at the Church Court Hotel. Robert was a past member of the Immaculate Conception Church in Malden and also enjoyed attending the Arch St. Church in Boston. He was a quiet, gentle person that enjoyed the company of his small circle of friends.
He is survived by his brother, Ronald Nicosia of Malden.
Funeral services will be held from the Weir-MacCuish Golden Rule Funeral Home, 144 Salem St, Malden on Saturday, January 6th at 9 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Joseph Church, Malden, at 10 AM. Interment to follow in Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.
