Roberta E. (Greenlaw) Clapp, a retired legal assistant, passed away on September 23rd in her home in Mesa, AZ. Roberta was born in Malden in 1935, the daughter of Arthur and Olive Greenlaw. She was raised in Malden, graduating from Malden High School with the Class of 1953. She worked for a time as a customer service manager before becoming a legal assistant working in a family law firm. Roberta enjoyed singing, and was a Soprano Soloist years back, and was a member of Beta Sigma Phi Harmony Inc. After living in Malden, Roberta and her husband Douglas moved to Winterhaven, Fl. The two shared 18 years of Marriage together until his passing in 2013. Roberta has since moved from Florida to Mesa, AZ, where she has spent the last 6 years.
She is survived by her children, Stephen D. Faulkner of Mesa, AZ, Scott W. Faulkner (Carol) of Attleboro, Debra J. Freeman (Walter) of Kissimmee, FL, and Robert G. Faulkner (Christine) of Attleboro, her brother William Greenlaw Sr (Elaine) of Middleboro, her sisters, Ruth Greenlaw of Madlen and Alyce Hemstreet (Edward) of Vero Beach, FL.
In addition to her husband Douglas, Roberta was preceded in death by her brothers, Arthur W. Greenlaw Jr, Alfred Greenlaw and Charles Greenlaw.
Visitation will be held at the Weir-MacCuish Golden Rule Funeral Home, 144 Salem ST, Malden on Thurs, Oct 6th, from 9-11, Followed by a graveside service in Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.
