Robyn M. (Zec) Blomerth, owner of Spring Haven Village Campground in Alton Bay, NH, passed away suddenly on Saturday, September 20th, in a tragic motorcycle accident with her husband Scott. Robyn was born in Somerville in 1966, the daughter of Thomas Zec and Maureen (Matson) Grande. She was raised and educated in Somerville, graduating from Somerville High School with the Class of 1984. She began waitressing and bartending in the area in various restaurants including Redbones, where she met her future husband Scott Blomerth. The two were married in 2003, and settled down together in Revere. The two moved to Alton Bay, NH about a year ago and managed the Spring Haven Village Campground with Scott, which was supposed to carry them through the next chapter of their lives. Robyn was interested in holistic healing, and also enjoyed reading, fishing, and taking rides on the bike with her husband Scott. She worked side by side with her husband Scott on carpentry jobs, on his job sites, at the campground, and at their home.
She is survived by her mother Maureen Grande of Reading, her brother Robert Zec of Revere, her aunt Carol Clancy, and many cousins.
In addition to her husband Scott, Robyn was preceded in death by her father, Thomas Zec.
Funeral services for Robyn and Scott will be held on Monday, September 29th, at the Weir – MacCuish Golden Rule Funeral Home, 144 Salem St, Malden, with visitation from 4 – 7, and a service at 7.
